Ok so my report date to OKC is Aug 12th for ATC training. I will be leaving on Aug 11th my birthday. The FAA will be paying for my flights and I can choose which airline I want to fly. From BNA I have all the majors. I have flown AA and more MD-80's than I can remember through DFW, and ORD. So I don't want to do that. I have flown UA more times than I can count through all their hubs. I don't want to fly WN, and US doesn't fly to OKC. And I can never get comfortable on F9. So that leaves me with NW, or CO. I have never flown NW, and I've only flown CO once about 10 years ago, and I like trying new things, and going to different airports. I've done my research and found routings on both. With CO I would go through IAH which I have never been through before, on an ERJ, and connecting to OKC on a 737-500. On NW I would like to go through MEM. From BNA it would be a DC-9 which I would like to get on one before they retire them all, and from MEM it would be a E-175, which I have never been on. And not knowing how much longer NW will be around I would like to fly them at least once. But I can't make my decision. If I could get a vote on here between CO, AND NW, I would take the one that has the most votes after a few days. I've non-revved my whole life so I'm not expecting any grand service. Thanks everyone for the help. Let the voting begin, and by next Wed which ever has the most votes is the one I'll take.

NW because
1. you want to fly a DC 9 and........ 2. NW is going away early next year.

Ditto. You'll have plenty of chances to get on CO in the future, NW and its DC-9s are going.

I am a die-hard Continental flyer.... lost my elite status last year, but will regain it in August.
My advice to you is this:
Pick NW.
You want on a DC9. You want on a E175. NW will (presumably... barring some unforeseen catastrophe) be gone within a couple of years.
Pick NW, dude.

Thanks for the replies I really appreciate it, but there have been 124 views and only 4 replies, c'mon, I thought this would be a pretty cool post, I mean voting for which airline I should fly. I will post a TR of that trip. How hard is it to just post northwest, or continental. Yes I am leaning towards NW but I really can't make my mind up on this one. That's why I'm doing the voting.

I am personally a CO flyer, and they do give free food etc.
However, in the circumstances I would undoubtedly go NORTHWEST - If I wasn't stuck in Australia I would book a flight with them just to go on a DC9 one last time
